Here's the next step - call your senator about the ban

Friend -- We're a little over a week into the new administration, and the President has already issued an executive order that unfairly targets people from several majority-Muslim countries and bans them from entering the United States. This executive order does not reflect American values -- it's cruel, unnecessary, irresponsible, and it won't keep us safe. We cannot be silent about it. Thanks for letting us know you're ready to take action on this ban, and make your voice heard. Here's what you can do right now: Pick up the phone and urge your senator to push back against this discriminatory executive order: my.ofa.us/Call-To-End-The-Ban We need more of our elected officials to stand up for diversity, tolerance, and inclusiveness, and to do whatever it takes to ensure this policy is revoked. The Senate can play an important role in pushing back against this executive order, but if we expect them to do anything about it, they need to hear from all of us that sitting on the sidelines and doing nothing is unacceptable. Hearing directly from constituents makes a difference, and we can have a powerful impact if we come together to make our voices heard. Take a few minutes to get in touch with your senator and urge them to push back against the administration's ban: my.ofa.us/Call-To-End-The-Ban Thanks, Yoli Yolanda Magallanes Development Director Organizing for Action

Friend --

We're a little over a week into the new administration, and the President has already issued an executive order that unfairly targets people from several majority-Muslim countries and bans them from entering the United States.

This executive order does not reflect American values -- it's cruel, unnecessary, irresponsible, and it won't keep us safe. We cannot be silent about it.

Thanks for letting us know you're ready to take action on this ban, and make your voice heard. Here's what you can do right now: Pick up the phone and urge your senator to push back against this discriminatory executive order.

We need more of our elected officials to stand up for the American values of diversity, tolerance, and inclusiveness, and to do whatever it takes to ensure this policy is revoked.

Take a few minutes to get in touch with your senator and urge them to push back against the administration's ban.

Make the call
Thanks,

Yoli
