Patricia, All throughout the 2016 election, Donald Trump promised that if elected, he'd nominate an anti-choice justice to the Supreme Court. With Judge Neil Gorsuch's Supreme Court confirmation hearing happening this week, Trump is one step closer to getting his way. Our EMILY's List women in the Senate are our absolute best line of defense to protect choice. Senators Dianne Feinstein, Amy Klobuchar, and Mazie Hirono are all on the committee questioning Gorsuch -- and they're pushing on his anti-woman record as hard as they can. Donate today to tell them you've got their backs and are ready to defend choice: secure.emilyslist.org/page/contribute/20170320_email_GorsuchHearing With anti-choice legislation coming at breakneck speed from states across the country, having someone like Neil Gorsuch on the bench would be a disaster for women and families. As a law professor, he allegedly told his students that women intentionally manipulate maternity leave at work to take advantage of benefits and then leave the company to stay at home with their children. That's why he recommended asking women in job interviews if they plan on becoming pregnant. And throughout his tenure as a judge, he's repeatedly made decisions that side with employers over people. At the U.S. Court of Appeals, he sided with Hobby Lobby in a decision that allows employers to block workers' access to contraception -- something no boss should have the power to decide. With Neil Gorsuch on the bench, Roe v. Wade could be overturned. And since he's only 49 years old, Gorsuch could serve on the court for decades to come. His nomination is dependent on the Senate's confirmation, and our EMILY's List women are going to be fighting it with everything they have. We have to stop him. Patricia,

All throughout the 2016 election, Donald Trump promised that if elected, he'd nominate an anti-choice justice to the Supreme Court.

With Judge Neil Gorsuch's Supreme Court confirmation hearing happening this week, Trump is one step closer to getting his way.

Our EMILY's List women in the Senate are our absolute best line of defense to protect choice. Senators Dianne Feinstein, Amy Klobuchar, and Mazie Hirono are all on the committee questioning Gorsuch — and they're pushing on his anti-woman record as hard as they can.

With anti-choice legislation coming at breakneck speed from states across the country, having someone like Neil Gorsuch on the bench would be a disaster for women and families.

At the U.S. Court of Appeals, he sided with Hobby Lobby in a decision that allows employers to block workers' access to contraception — something no boss should have the power to decide.
