Dear Friend, Yesterday, President Clinton reconfirmed his commitment to the ongoing work of the Clinton Foundation, letting staff know he had assumed the role of Chair of the Board: "This has been my life for the last 16 years and I want to send a clear signal that we’re serious about continuing our work which, I believe, is now more important than ever." Along with this exciting news, we wanted to share with our community of dedicated supporters some additional leadership changes at the Clinton Foundation: * Donna Shalala has stepped down as President and CEO of the Foundation and joined the Board. * Bruce Lindsey, the previous Chair, will continue to be a full-time member of the Board and has become Counselor to the Chair. * The Board has named Kevin Thurm, who has served as Chief Operating Officer since 2015, as Acting CEO. Donna took a leave of absence from the University of Miami in order to join the Foundation in the summer of 2015. In her time with the Foundation, Donna helped lead us into a stronger position and enhanced the impact of our work.
