This president's budget:

Friend -- The White House released their budget today -- a laundry list of harsh proposals that would have a devastating effect on millions of American families. There's no sugar-coating this: This budget would end Medicaid as we know it. It takes an axe to the Children's Health Insurance Program, and it slashes Social Security benefits for the disabled. Millions of people would find themselves without access to basic necessities under this budget -- we can't stand for this: my.ofa.us/Raise-Your-Voice-On-This-Budget Cuts under this budget are far-reaching, including cancer research, help for low-income students to afford college, nutrition assistance for poor kids, the Centers for Disease Control, the EPA's ability to keep pollutants out of our air and water -- and the first-ever White House attempt to fully block Planned Parenthood from federal funds. This budget is a cruel demonstration of what really matters to this administration. Instead of slashing programs that are working for some of the most vulnerable Americans, a budget should affirm our shared values. No child in America should go hungry, people who are down on their luck should have the opportunity to bounce back through training programs, and those who are physically unable to work should be treated fairly with dignity and respect. We cannot stay silent on this -- make your voice heard on the administration's budget: my.ofa.us/Raise-Your-Voice-On-This-Budget Thanks, Saumya Saumya Narechania National Issues Campaign Manager Organizing for Action

Friend --

The White House released their budget today -- a laundry list of harsh proposals that would have a devastating effect on millions of American families.

There's no sugar-coating this: This budget would end Medicaid as we know it. It takes an axe to the Children's Health Insurance Program, and it slashes Social Security benefits for the disabled.

Millions of people would find themselves without access to basic necessities under this budget -- we can't stand for this.

Cuts under this budget are far-reaching, including cancer research, help for low-income students to afford college, nutrition assistance for poor kids, the Centers for Disease Control, the EPA's ability to keep pollutants out of our air and water -- and the first-ever White House attempt to fully block Planned Parenthood from federal funds.

We cannot stay silent on this -- make your voice heard on the administration's budget:
