A new message from your friends at People For the American Way. Anne, Earlier this week, PFAW launched a major new initiative to elect the next generation of progressive leaders and rebuild progressive power from the ground up in the states: The Next Up Victory Fund. We held a kickoff event on Tuesday night with young elected progressives and members of Congress -- including Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Reps. Joaquin Castro and Jamie Raskin, and Deputy DNC Chair Keith Ellison -- but now we're eager to tell YOU all about the program and why it's generating so much excitement among the progressive community. YOU'RE INVITED to our next member telebriefing, all about PFAW's Next Up Victory Fund, a week from today. WHAT: Next Up Victory Fund member briefing call WHEN: Thursday, June 1 at 4:30pm Eastern Time (3:30 Central / 2:30 Mountain / 1:30 Pacific) RSVP here to receive the call-in information>> site.pfaw.org/site/R We're so excited to continue our long history of supporting young progressive candidates for office. We'll tell you all about what Next Up hopes to achieve, the types of candidates we're going to support, and how PFAW members can plug in and get involved.
