On this D-Day Anniversary, we celebrate exceptional American bravery that changed the world. Hundreds of thousands of allied troops, many too young to even vote, stormed the beaches of Normandy in defense of freedom. Over 4,000 men lost their lives in this battle, so that we could enjoy the freedoms we still have today. These brave men, many of them teenage boys, had their whole lives ahead of them, yet gave it all in defense of those they would never know….US! How can we reflect on this courage and sacrifice without cherishing those who risked it all in the name of freedom? <www.actforamerica.org/vets>Not surprisingly, many of our most active volunteers are retired veterans, who continue to dedicate their time and effort to keeping America safe. Many of them live on a fixed income and are unable to join us for our 2017 National Conference in Washington <www.actcon.us/register>. These veterans are angels of protection and patriotism. On this D-Day we ask you to help us honor them by sponsoring a Veteran to join us <www.actforamerica.org/vets>at this year’s conference. This is your opportunity to say thank you to a Veteran for the sacrifice he or she did and continue to do to keep America safe. Today marks the 73rd anniversary of Operation Overlord, AKA D-Day.

On this D-Day Anniversary, we celebrate exceptional American bravery that changed the world.
