Patricia, I am really outraged over this. Talk of passing Trumpcare is back -- and this time it's coming from behind closed doors in the Senate where 13 men are writing the bill in secret without a woman even present. EMILY's List women should be in that room, fighting for the 23 million people who would lose health insurance under Trumpcare and every single one of us who could pay higher premiums, have our coverage reduced, or be negatively affected in any way by this bill. Make sure women always have a seat when health care's on the table. Donate now to keep our women in the Senate and send them reinforcements next year: secure.emilyslist.org/page/contribute/20170617_email_SenateAHCA Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and his Republican colleagues could strip health care from millions of people, scrap the policy that provides coverage for people with pre-existing conditions, and gut coverage for women's health services -- including funding for Planned Parenthood. These are the people who are supposed to be representing our best interests and holding Trump accountable. Instead, they've shut out the public and their fellow senators from the process in order to kowtow to Trump. It's shameful. The reason they're doing it is simple: Republicans are scared. They know Trumpcare's going to be unpopular, and our elected women have been the first to say so. Whether it's Claire McCaskill demanding a public hearing or Kamala Harris defending why Americans need accessible health care -- we can rely on EMILY's List women. Nine of the 15 EMILY's List senators are up for re-election next year. Without them, Mitch McConnell's voice is a lot louder, and President Trump's influence is a LOT stronger. Patricia,

I am really outraged over this.

Talk of passing Trumpcare is back — and this time it's coming from behind closed doors in the Senate where 13 men are writing the bill in secret without a woman even present.

EMILY's List women should be in that room, fighting for the 23 million people who would lose health insurance under Trumpcare and every single one of us who could pay higher premiums, have our coverage reduced, or be negatively affected in any way by this bill.

Make sure women always have a seat when health care's on the table. Donate now to keep our women in the Senate and send them reinforcements next year.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and his Republican colleagues could strip health care from millions of people, scrap the policy that provides coverage for people with pre-existing conditions, and gut coverage for women's health services — including funding for Planned Parenthood.

Whether it's Claire McCaskill demanding a public hearing or Kamala Harris defending why Americans need accessible health care — we can rely on EMILY's List women.
