A new message from your friends at People For the American Way. Anne-- Details of the Senate version of Trumpcare are being released TODAY. Health care is in jeopardy. And while he harps on about how he thinks Obamacare was rushed, it's important to remember that there were no less than 45 hearings before Obamacare was passed. The Senate has not held a single hearing before their planned vote. To recap, the House Republican plan aims to reduce Medicaid spending by $800 billion over the next 10 years. And that will have dramatic consequences for A LOT of Americans. Nearly 50% of births are covered by Medicaid. It covers 76% of poor CHILDREN, 60% of children with disabilities, 40% of poor adults, and 30% of adults with disabilities.
