This administration is trying to collect this information from every voter in the country. I certainly wouldn't trust them with it, and the fact that they're after it should worry every person in America. They have told lies about voter fraud for months, and have created a commission that voting rights experts believe is charged with trying to disenfranchise as many voters as possible -- after all, it's headed up by one of the most notorious advocates of voter suppression this country has seen in decades. Now this commission is trying to collect this information from every voter in the country. I certainly wouldn't trust them with that information, and the fact that they're after it should worry every person in America. A letter released this week by the "Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity" confirmed it: This administration is willing to go to extreme lengths to collect the information it needs to lay the groundwork for voter suppression. Attacks on voting rights in this country are nothing new -- but if we don't fight back, more and more Americans will be disenfranchised by efforts like these: my.ofa.us/Say-No If we allow them to create a government database like the one this letter suggests they're creating, it becomes more and more likely that they will target certain voters who aren't going to vote for them. That is an assault on our elections, and on our democracy. Whether it's extreme identification requirements, voter intimidation, or new and extreme voter registration processes -- anything that makes voting harder -- we have to fight against it. This administration is doing everything they can to restrict one of our most basic rights: our right to vote.

A letter released this week by the "Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity" confirmed it: This administration is willing to go to extreme lengths to collect the information it needs to lay the groundwork for voter suppression.

Attacks on voting rights in this country are nothing new -- but if we don't fight back, more and more Americans will be disenfranchised by efforts like these.

If we allow them to create a government database like the one this letter suggests they're creating, it becomes more and more likely that they will target certain voters who aren't going to vote for them. That is an assault on our elections, and on our democracy.

Whether it's extreme identification requirements, voter intimidation, or new and extreme voter registration processes -- anything that makes voting harder -- we have to fight against it.
