A new message from your friends at People For the American Way. Anne, After a busy recess week of doing everything they could to duck their constituents, Senate Republicans are back in DC frantically trying to reach an agreement on their bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act. Talking Points Memo posted a piece today outlining nine disastrous impacts of the Senate Trumpcare bill should it pass. Here they are in brief:[1] 1. The short-term cuts to Medicaid are painful. 2. The long-term cuts to Medicaid are far worse. 3. The uninsured population would rise in every age group... 4. ...and in every state. 5. Premiums would jump, especially for the older and poorer. 6. Tax credits for the middle class would plummet. 7. Employer plans are not safe either. 8. Hospitals would bear a heavy burden 9. It's a job-killer. Please don't wait another minute to add your name to our petition to stop Trumpcare in the Senate -- we need you in this fight! site.pfaw.org/site/R stop trumpcare site.pfaw.org/site/R Thanks for standing up! -- Ben, PFAW donate: site.pfaw.org/site/R 1. Anne,

After a busy recess week of doing everything they could to duck their constituents, Senate Republicans are back in DC frantically trying to reach an agreement on their bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

Talking Points Memo posted a piece today outlining nine disastrous impacts of the Senate Trumpcare bill should it pass. Here they are in brief:[1]

8. Hospitals would bear a heavy burden

9. It's a job-killer.

Thanks for standing up!
