Bush and President Bill Clinton moderated by Carlyle's David Rubenstein, which focused on leadership. Through the PLS program curriculum, participants have connected with some of the best minds in the study of leadership and benefited from the assets of the four participating presidential centers and insights of the former presidents and those who served with them. This year's 60 graduates join 121 PLS alumni who have gained greater inspiration and a stronger sense of purpose as leaders through their participation in this first-of-its-kind program. The episode will focus on Mrs. Laura Bush’s compassion and influence during the aftermath of 9/11, earning her the nickname, "Comforter in Chief." DT joined President Bush at last year’s Invictus Games, and just last week, he won the gold medal in cycling at the Warrior Games. 2017 Class of Presidential Leadership Scholars Graduates

The 2017 Class of  graduated last night in a ceremony at the Bush Center, which included a moving and powerful keynote address from SreyRam Kuy, chosen by her fellow Scholars to represent their class, and a conversation between President George W. Bush and President Bill Clinton moderated by Carlyle's David Rubenstein, which focused on leadership.
