Completely barbaric

Patricia, State Republicans are at it again. In June, Iowa lost a third of their Planned Parenthood clinics in a single day because state Republicans defunded the organization. And New Hampshire Republicans were so eager to pass anti-choice legislation that they accidentally made it legal for pregnant women to kill people. If you thought those were outrageous, what happened in Arkansas will make your blood boil: This month Republicans passed a law requiring women seeking abortion care to consult men who impregnate them. That means survivors of rape or domestic violence have to basically get permission from their attackers in order to get an abortion. State and local Republicans are completely out of control, and it's well past time to replace them. Now the GOP has total control over the state government, and anti-choice extremists are using it to try and close the very last abortion clinic in the state. They've launched a full campaign to harass patients and doctors at the clinic, including the first coordinated clinic blockade in over a decade. One of the groups organizing the campaign is led by a man who called women who have abortions murderers and blamed 9/11 on legal abortion. And in Texas, Republicans aren't focused on bringing down their sky high maternal mortality rate which is the highest in the developed world. Instead, they're trying to pass legislation to strip away licenses from doctors who perform abortions. These attacks are not just bad for women living in these states. Anti-choice politicians across the country will often take up an idea once they see it pass in other places. And Donald Trump's presidency has emboldened anti-choice extremists to escalate their attacks on clinics, doctors, and women. Fed up with these barbaric laws? Want to stop them before they spread? Patricia,

State Republicans are at it again.

Donate $3 to help elect pro-choice Democratic women across the country who will protect women and women's rights.

In Kentucky, Republicans gained control of the House for the first time in 95 years in November.
