Patricia, We're still feeling the amazing aftereffects of Election Day 2017. In the two weeks following November 7th, nearly twice as many women reached out to us than had in the entire 2016 cycle. Our successes across the country sent a clear message to women: Even if you are a first-time candidate, even if you don't have a lengthy political career, even if there isn't anyone who looks like you serving in your local government -- you too can run for office and win. But just like our women who won this year, these hundreds of new prospective candidates can't win without help. Donate $3 to train and support these women to run for state and local office -- and we can elect a new generation of women lawmakers: secure.emilyslist.org/page/contribute/20171201_email_Runners22k Now, a total of more than 22,000 women have told us they want to put their name on the ballot. This year, we have already trained more than 2,000 women to run for office. Next year, we are going to continue helping women get ready to run, but we are also going to start launching campaigns for women, too. And just like we did this year, we're going to endorse women early and often so they make it through competitive primaries, ones where they're often running against the infamous old boys' club. Trust me: The women are here, they are ready to run, and they CAN win. We just need to support them. Donate $3 to help train and elect women who want to run for office for the first time: secure.emilyslist.org/page/contribute/20171201_email_Runners22k Thanks, and go team! Patricia,

We're still feeling the amazing aftereffects of Election Day 2017.

In the two weeks following November 7th, nearly twice as many women reached out to us than had in the entire 2016 cycle.

Our successes across the country sent a clear message to women: Even if you are a first-time candidate, even if you don't have a lengthy political career, even if there isn't anyone who looks like you serving in your local government — you too can run for office and win.

But just like our women who won this year, these hundreds of new prospective candidates can't win without help.

Donate $3 to train and support these women to run for state and local office — and we can elect a new generation of women lawmakers.

Now, a total of more than 22,000 women have told us they want to put their name on the ballot.

Donate $3 to help train and elect women who want to run for office for the first time:
