Hi Unity, Well, the Senate finally did it.  Early this morning just before 2:00 am the Senate passed tax reform. It was a close vote just 51-49 with only one Republican voting no, Senator Bob Corker (R-Tenn.)   It's been 31 years since Congress has passed comprehensive tax reform. The bill will now go to a conference where the House and the Senate bills will be compared and negotiations will take place before the bill reaches President Trump's desk.  Thank you to those of you who took action and reminded your Senator of the great need to bring our tax code up to date into the 21st Century. Your voice was heard! Together, we sent thousands of messages to Washington.  Let's continue to pray for those from the House and the Senate meeting in the Conference to hammer out the final details of the bill. Pray they would produce an outcome that is beneficial for all Americans.  We'll keep you posted. So much is happening in Washington that affects the everyday lives of Americans. It's critical Christians stay alert and informed so that we can continue to seek the welfare of the cities in which we live.  United. We Stand.
