The Power of Hope

Dear Friend, In my years as President Clinton’s Secretary of State, I traveled to 98 nations around the globe. Throughout my travels, I saw the very worst – and the very best – of this world. I saw the tragedy of drought and famine, and I saw relief workers devoting their lives to digging wells and coaxing harvests from once-barren farmlands. I saw refugees fleeing war-torn communities, and I saw the power of reconciliation. I saw women who had been systematically deprived of their rights, and I saw the joy in the faces of girls who were entering a schoolroom for the first time in their lives. But more than anything else, I saw hope – the hope, against all odds, that we can work together to build a better and brighter future. To me, that’s what the Clinton Foundation is all about: The power that each one of us has to turn hope into reality – an idea into action – for solving complex challenges and improving lives here in the United States and around the globe. Can you help the Clinton Foundation turn today’s hope into tomorrow’s peace and prosperity by making a donation today? Donate today and President Clinton will match your contribution! (bbis.clintonfoundation.org/2017/20171227nd The Clinton Foundation has taken on some of the toughest, most urgent challenges in the world: battling the opioid epidemic in the United States, providing resources and training to help smallholder farmers in Africa earn more for their crops, assisting Puerto Rico’s recovery from disaster, and more broadly promoting renewable energy in the Caribbean. Dear Friend,

In my years as President Clinton’s Secretary of State, I traveled to 98 nations around the globe.
