Sunday, January 21, is the 8th anniversary of the infamous Citizens United Supreme Court decision that opened the floodgates of unlimited campaign money to buy access and influence with local, state, and federal officials. Less well known is that this perversion of “free speech” has sent the average cost of Congressional and other campaigns through the roof, making self-funded candidates from the 1% the preferred candidates for too many Democratic and Republican races.
We are teaming up with ice cream Ben Cohen’s Stamp Stampede and other partners to harness the power of people over dollars. Each of us can take action against money in politics by turning money into media.
This week through Sunday, Jan 21, 2018, we’re going to legally rubber stamp messages like “Not To Be Used To Bribe Politicians” on over 1 million bills. You stamp it, you spend it, and the message will circulate and be seen over 875 million times.
Come together with friends, family, and neighbors across the country on Sunday, January 21 at 4 p.m. and tune in for a special message from Ben Cohen (co-founder of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream), Jeff Clements, and other national leaders.

When everyday people come together we create the power to end the corrupt system of pay-to-play politics.
