The women EMILY's List endorses are not just pro-choice Democrats.
They're doctors, educators, business owners, veterans, community leaders, and more.
We endorse all kinds of pro-choice Democratic women, because those unique backgrounds are what make our women so strong on the issues that matter the most to voters.
And that's why we need them in office where they can fight for us.
Donate to help elect pro-choice Democratic women whose experiences make them strong candidates for office.
Too many voices are underrepresented in office, but our women are running to change that.
For example, a woman doctor has never served as a Democratic representative in the House. But we've already endorsed two.
Kim Schrier (WA-08) and Mai Khanh Tran (CA-39) know how essential access to care is for their patients and were motivated to run for office after relentless Republican attacks on health care.
EMILY's List women are also educators — including Veronica Escobar (TX-16), Chris Giunchigliani (NV-GOV), Katie Porter (CA-45), and Elizabeth Warren (MA-SEN) — running to fight for students.
They're former business owners — like Stacey Abrams (GA-GOV), Michelle Lujan Grisham (NM-GOV), and Marie Newman (IL-03) — who fight for working women and families because they understand their livelihoods depend on the success of those businesses.
And our women are lifelong public servants, from veterans — including Chrissy Houlahan (PA-06), Gina Ortiz Jones (TX-23), Connie Pillich (OH-GOV), and Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) — to community leaders, like Cheri Bustos (IL-17) and Sol Flores (IL-04).
Their backgrounds make them strong contenders, but we've got to help them win if we want them to be strong elected officials, too.
Donate to help make these doctors, educators, and veterans our next congresswomen, senators, and governors:
