Friends, The mainstream media and cable news networks provide endless coverage of budget decisions in Washington, D.C. They offer a perspective on the political system that tells viewers that power is centralized in the Capitol, not dispersed throughout state legislatures, city councils, or school boards. We cannot afford to overlook the huge budget decisions being made on the local level anymore. Our Revolution groups are taking back control of their community resources. Our volunteers are going up against the most powerful entities in local politics by consolidating the hard-earned money of the people and dedicating it toward their most pressing priorities. The scope of power for an individual citizen is limited, but the scope of power for a group is limitless. Our Revolution members have joined forces to lobby city councilmembers, take on the private insurance companies, and protest fracking in communities that could contaminate the very water that we drink. These are the volunteers and activists that you support when you donate to Our Revolution. Can you support the progress being made by Our Revolution groups by contributing $5? Our Revolution

Friends,

The mainstream media and cable news networks provide endless coverage of budget decisions in Washington, D.C.

Your contribution allows volunteers to promote their local events through Our Revolution's Organizing Hub, it allows local groups to make calls to members of their community about progressive candidates running for office, it allows our staff the time and resources to work directly with neighborhood leaders who are running for precinct captains to transform the Democratic Party in their state.

We have the momentum. Now we need to focus our efforts and make them count.

Make a $5 contribution to maintain the momentum Our Revolution is building.

We are capitalizing on the opportunities in front of us to pass meaningful progressive policy on the local level. Your contribution and support for our local groups make our work possible—thank you.

In solidarity,
