Dear Friend:This has been another busy week in Washington, D. C. Among the many activities and work that has taken place, I have addressed such important issues as putting pressure on the Administration to use its flexibility to stop travel delays and unnecessary furloughs at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); introducing bipartisan, bicameral legislation, the Promoting Automotive Repair, Trade and Sales Act of 2013 (PARTS), that expands consumer choice for automobile collision repair parts; releasing a bipartisan Senate Finance Committee Report that outlines a comprehensive overview of the policy and legislative recommendations received from 146 stakeholders in the health care community on ways to improve federal efforts to combat waste, fraud, and abuse in the Medicare and Medicaid programs; and looking for ways to improve the Marketplace Fairness Act so it makes sense for businesses and consumers throughout the country.Below you will find more detailed information you can read on each of these subjects and more.It is an honor to continue to serve you in the United States Senate and I appreciate your continued input, wisdom and support.Sincerely,Orrin Hatch Hatch Introduces Amendment to Improve Marketplace Fairness ActBipartisan Finance Committee Report Details Policy Recommendations to Combat Waste, Fraud & Abuse in Medicare & MedicaidHatchCalls on Obama Administration To Use Its Flexibility To Stop Travel Delays, Unnecessary FurloughsHatch, Whitehouse, Issa, Lofgren Introduce PARTS ActIn Speech, Hatch Outlines Concerns With Online Sales Tax Bill, Calls For Return toRegular Order

Dear Friend:

This has been another busy week in Washington, D. C.  Among the many activities and work that has taken place, I have addressed such important issues as putting pressure on the Administration to use its flexibility to stop travel delays and unnecessary furloughs at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); introducing bipartisan, bicameral legislation, the Promoting Automotive Repair, Trade and Sales Act of 2013 (PARTS), that expands consumer choice for automobile collision repair parts; releasing a bipartisan Senate Finance Committee Report that outlines a comprehensive overview of the policy and legislative recommendations received from 146 stakeholders in the health care community on ways to improve federal efforts to combat waste, fraud, and abuse in the Medicare and Medicaid programs; and looking for ways to improve the Marketplace Fairness Act so it makes sense for businesses and consumers throughout the country.

Below you will find more detailed information you can read on each of these subjects and more.

It is an honor to continue to serve you in the United States Senate and I appreciate your continued input, wisdom and support.

Sincerely,

Orrin Hatch
