I wish you and your family a safe celebration this holiday. Whether youre attending a neighborhood cookout, festive parade, or local firework display here are some tips to help you enjoy this 4th of July holiday. - *Keep fireworks safety in mind.* Before enjoying fireworks this year, be sure to review fireworks safety [link 1] recommendations and local firework restrictions [link 2]. - *Fly the flag.* You can show your American pride by flying the flag this Independence Day. If you would like to request a commemorative flag flown over the Capitol, please contact my office [link 3]. - *Thank a service member or veteran*.
