Really damn close

Friend -- I've spent a lot of my professional time watching the polls in important Senate races over the past year, and I've got to tell you: There is no doubt that control of the Senate will come down to a couple key states -- this will be really damn close. A few examples: A recent poll in North Carolina showed Senator Kay Hagan up 48% against her Republican challenger with 46%. We're in danger of falling behind in Louisiana -- a poll from a couple weeks ago had us down three points. In Iowa, the Senate race with Bruce Braley is a dead-even tie. When things are this close, your contribution can make the difference in key races like these -- and control of the Senate is on the line. Donate $10 or more before the mid-month FEC deadline in just four days: my.democrats.org/Elect-Democrats-2014 This election isn't just about which party ends up with the majority in the Senate, though. It will determine what we can get done in the remaining years of President Obama's term. This election will have a hand in shaping the momentum going into 2016 and our next battle for the White House. There's a lot on the line here. But Democrats have maintained their digital and technological edge, have been laying the groundwork in key races for months, and have been getting out the facts on issues that matter most to Americans. And now it's crunch time -- the final 24 days for our campaigns to do everything that needs to happen for them to win. Chip in before Wednesday's deadline, and make sure that Democrats can celebrate victory on Election Day: my.democrats.org/Elect-Democrats-2014 Thanks, Stephanie Cutter
